The Bedtime Series | Season 1, Ep 9: Today is a Sunday
Well, I was having dinner today. One of my most favourite things to have too — Coconut + Chicken Ramen. It is so light and so nice in taste, and doesn’t add that many calories to the diet. I did go for a run, after ages, this morning (after a legs & abs workout yesterday) so I don’t feel that bad having given into this small indulgence. (For those who don’t know, I’m on a strict Jason Statham diet for this whole month with just one day of moderate cheating allowed).
Well, today is Sunday anyway and during dinner I thought I should skip the blog today and call it my ‘rest’ day but when I got home, something did not feel right. I felt I should not be easy on myself (even though there is this Top Gun movie I need to finish and rejoice in me being able to complete draft #1 of my resume today).
Tomorrow I’m off to Pune, for a week. I am looking forward to it. I love my desk, my space and being able to work from an empty office. It is one of the few pleasures of pandemic life. Everyone’s a bit scared, saying that Pune is now the hotspot of Corona in India. Well, everything is relative. I have personally not cared much about the numbers or the whole pandemic. And I intend to continue doing that. The governments can make it a bit inconvenient with their oh-so-strategic ‘night’ curfews. (There’s one in Pune from 11pm to 6am). Because that’s when maximum people congregate and the risk of spreading the virus increases. ;)
Anyway, I do not have anything much to write about today. So I thought I’ll share some links of wonderful things I’ve been able to watch & learn from in the recent past. More so for my records than to preach anything.
- The Ocho System by Joe Holder — Link (One can help others, others can help one)
- Van Niestat’s YouTube Channel (Brother of my all time favourite YouTuber, Casey Niestat) — Link
- Bruce Springsteen & Paul McCartney creating magic (watch from 3:32 for my favourite Beatles song) — Link
And as always, here’s a photo of me enjoying myself on a Sunday some time ago, not sure what I was doing but I was happy. Cheers to yet another abrupt ending of a blog. Happy Sunday!
